I use abstract biomorphic forms to express the life energy found in the natural world.
I think of them living on a molecular level but I don’t discourage the interpretation that they might exist on a more universal scale.
Shapes and gestures are seen as biological forms interacting with varying levels of resistance and attraction to each other.
The elements are often disruptive. Sometimes they come together to form complete organisms or spin off in isolation. No matter what happens in the chaos, they are ultimately unified aesthetically through shape and color.
The viewer may see this as a metaphor for the harmony and discord of human life.
